Before this I lived in the top flat and in student flats.
I moved into my current flat approx 2 years ago and the flat above was empty. It was bought about a year ago and the owner finally moved in about six months ago.
I am finding it so noisy, but it's footsteps and the occasional dropped object. I can't hear talking, the TV or music.
I had a nosy on Rightmove and it used to be carpeted throughout. I don't know if that's changed because the bedroom and living room seem to be the worst for noise.
