Oh god they're so good

Treacle oaty firm bastards. I wish I'd bought more for my new addiction.

100 calories each. Can only have 2 a day. Need to hide them from dh and tell them they were disappointing- possibly side track him with some of those Belgian biscuits left over from Christmas

FlyingMonkeys · 14/01/2019 00:30

They're £5.95 a tin 😮

JudiDenchsBloomers · 14/01/2019 05:25

May I turn your attention to the other delights Fortnums sell? There is a F&M at T5 and they regularly crumble up some biscuits for you to try. In the interest of research, I tried their ginger and chilli nuggets of delight at Christmas and it took all my effort NOT to buy some to munch on the plane. I don't even care they're £10 a tin, worth every penny Grin

LittleOldWineDrinker · 14/01/2019 05:46

Sainsbury's do a treacle and oat cookie in their finest range - might be a cheaper (and slightly lesser) variation for you to try?

GrasswillbeGreener · 14/01/2019 05:53

Just beware of telling your husband they were "disappointing" - if he then finds them he may then decide to "help finish them up" for you ... (mine once did that with a ginger cordial I was enjoying slowly - that he had already told me he didn't like!)

SpamChaudFroid · 14/01/2019 05:57

That's the only thing about seasonal delicacies, the anxiety of knowing they are only fleeting and you can't get more. So bittersweet! Enjoy every wistful mouthful OP!
