Is grey carpet still the in thing?

I need to replace carpets throughout most of my house before putting it up for sale. Is grey still the in colour for carpeting?

I need it to be something light but just wondering if the grey fad is still going strong?

Of course it does, grey doesn't have magic dirt repelling qualities. What you mean is it will get just as dirty but it won't be noticeable the carpet is manky.

Just get it cleaned. Buying something so you can't see it's manky is really unappealing.

Lots of.different shades of grey here, i like grey carpet especially darker shades because they hide a multitude of stains and unlike black they dont show every fleck of fluff.

I think this one in Pebble could be described as greige

Beige would put me off. I hate brown tones. I have grey carpet upstairs and love it. All my walls are a warm grey and everyone says how nice it looks.

And if grey is dated what neutral is it replaced by? Brown tone neutrals were around forever. Eventually they were replaced by grey. Interior trends last a long time.

Neutral/beige look dated to me.

I just re carpeted in a greige and love it! Have attached a pic but hard to see the true colour in artificial light

I've just had grey carpet on my stairs and landing and smallest bedroom. It has a fleck through it and looks lovely.

I'm very happy with it.

To be fair I mostly like beige because it hides the ginger and white cat hair better than the grey does .....
