What does this update mean?

I am confused because I would consider that as soon as I pay, the item is in the process of being posted, until it actually is posted.

So what’s the point of this email update?!

It is just another useless change to the standard e.mails they send. It replaces the one that actually said your item has been posted or whatever it was. Presumably because people were marking as sent and not posting for a few days, therefore making it look as if the delivery was late.

Maybe because too many people were marking the postage time down on the star ratings because they don't actually have a clue about how Ebay works.
