Anyone listened to ‘My dad wrote a porno’?

It is the funniest thing I have ever heard - I’ve nearly got to the end of series two in about a week.

It's very funny, I used to listen when running as an alternative to music. Got a bit bored through series 2 I think though.

I listen to it while running as well! It makes me look a total loon giggling my head off!

Ive listened to them all. Definitely my favourite podcast. There's been times ive been on the train with tears streaming down my face as i try to hold my laughter in. Comedy gold! I always wonder if his dad has really wrote them.

Subs I should try this again. I thought it was really unfunny. Must be missing something as everyone else finds it hilarious.

It’s cringey but also just so funny in terms of some of the language he uses! Grabbed by the cervix is my favourite - and breast nipples. Plus the fact she’s a saucepan saleswoman yet is constantly at it!

Or the fact the women just get their tits out or get naked absolutely anywhere!

Yes. I have never got over “grabbed her cervix” in the first series.
The trade off is i now find all sex hilarious much to DPs annoyance

I listened to first series (on the bus...) and found it really funny but didn't want to do series 2 because i wanted to try other podcasts and once you've started something you need to finish it!

Listened to the first two episodes. I thought I’d try it again in the future but I think the guys on the podcast are forcing trying to be funny. Repeating unnecessary things and trying to find something funny in every sentence.

Been a fan since series 2, it creases me.

Had to stop the car on my commute life than once for fear of crashing because BN I was laughing and crying with giggles. And I went to the live show...

There was obvs drinking games. I definitely was a bit worse for wear when we went home...and definitely needed the waterproof mascara!!!

Even if it did lose its mojo slightly in s2/s3, the fourth series was just hysterical. Rocky flintstone certainly found his niche with the porn/espionage crossover. Also the footnotes are wonderful - especially the one with Emma Thompson, who sounds like she’d be an absolute cracker of a friend/family member if you knew her irl.

I’m not up to series 4 - that sounds brilliant! I just find it so funny - and weirdly compulsive. I want to know what’s going on but it’s the stupidest story ever. They’re all just boinking everyone else!

I did download it after reading about it here, but havent had any more opportunities to listen

I listened to a couple and wondered if I was missing something. Some people reading out bad porn written by one of their dads. It was just weird and cringey.

Meh, I have plenty of other podcasts that I like to listen to.
