In The Night Garden theme tune started playing. For some reason it tears me up! I don't know why. It reduces me to tears.

My son is 14 months old, how much longer can I cling onto 'oh I've just had a baby' as an excuse for my histrionics? Blush

My dd used to cry at the music that played when the petals would blow across the screen in ITNG. She would sob. I was in their playroom the other day and hit off the remote when tidying and I heard the music (cbeebies) is in the last for us now and I did year up. I watched the first little sequence. It just hit me how it used to be the absolute bane of my life going on repeat and now it's just a memory.

I used to cry regularly at the 'Birds of a Feather' theme tune - I used to sing it to the first dog I ever had, before I had dc. I was truly heartbroken when he died - he was my best friend, and used to put his chin in my lap when I was sad, as if he knew.
I've just had a little cry after changing the downstairs loo towel (I put the dirty one in the floor in front of the washing machine) and then thinking 'I bet the cat will lay on that' - the only thing is, he has been gone for six weeks. Sad
Music and smells are very potent in stirring emotions.
Go easy on yourself. Thanks

I feel all warm and cosy when I hear the ITNG theme song. It reminds me of when DD was tiny and I would snuggle up with her under a warm blanket whilst I breastfed all while cbeebies was on in the background.

Someone introduced me to the song Fly - Céline Dion. Again, can't stop crying.
Proper balling my eyes out Sad

Lulu that's a lovely memory. I just love snuggly breastfeeding cuddles. Everything goes in a flash. Time stands still for no one, it's true

That show is the bane of my life. The music on the other hand.. tears. Every time.

I've been an emotional mess today and have cried at;
64 Zoo Lane.
ITNG.
DD signing along with Mr Tumble - really trying her best.
The dog looking through the patio doors at me with her sad face.
Watching DD sleeping in her 'big girl' bed.

And I haven't even got being pregnant as an excuse.
Hope that makes you feel better OP!

The theme tune for Stargazers on CBeebies sets me off because it’s just so lovely Grin
