Ummm...are you sure about that?

If you find something, you're going to look like you're on a tag.

littlemissalwaystired · 12/01/2019 19:19

I'm a midwife and wear my Fitbit on my ankle, I don't care that it makes it look like a prison tag. I sometimes just make a joke of it. It's nice being able to see how many steps you've done when it feels like you're not able to sit down for longer than 30 seconds.

Watching with interest. The main reason I don't have a fitbit is that with BBE at work there isn't much point.

@littlemissalwaystired just out of pure nosiness how many steps would you do on a shift?

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 12/01/2019 21:22

DS has a Huawei one that you can pop out the screen bit and attach it to your shoe laces.

I'll try and find a link.

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 12/01/2019 21:27

This one - you can thread it onto your shoe laces

I tried putting my phone in my pocket, but in a 13 hour day it only logs 6-8000 steps. I'm on my feet constantly so I know I'm doing far more. I take the stairs up and down 3 - 4 flights depending on placement.

I'm still looking for one. So I'm interested in options offered.

I don't like the idea of tying to shoe laces, that reminds me of my tying grolsch bottle tops to my shoes like we did in the late 80s 😂

NoFucksImAQueen · 13/01/2019 09:12

I like the shoe lace idea so will definitely look at them thanks ohmygod. I also don't care about the tag thing,I doubt many tags are small thin and pretty coloured.

I used to use a jawbone up move - you wear it with a clip so I clipped mine to my bra. It worked great and the app was really good too. was only about £12 at the time.

nikkylou · 13/01/2019 10:24

Fitbit do a clip on one:

HumptyNumptyNooNoo · 13/01/2019 10:26

Fitbit zip clipped into your bra is effective without being noticeable

hugoagogo · 13/01/2019 10:46

I was going to say about the bra one.

littlemissalwaystired · 13/01/2019 13:46

Normally on an average labour ward shift I do about 12kSmile

Impressive!! @littlemissalwaystired
