Period a week late. Husband had vasectomy year a go. WTH

Not been stressed or anything. Sore boobs but I get them when I'm due on anyway. But no sign.

Is it worth testing next week? I don't want anymore children so i bloody hope I'm not and the vasectomy has reversed. I'll be gutted and won't be able to keep

Did he complete the required number of ejaculations before you stopped using contraception?

Why not just test now? At least you’ll know.

Did he get the all clear? I randomly missed a period a few months ago and ended up testing even though dh has had a vasectomy. It was negative (of course!)

Freak occurrence?

You need to test of course, but reversals are fairly unlikely.

Did he do the final testing to make sure the procedure was successful?

Yeahhh all clear years ago. Regular periods for years too and since. Just late so wondering why. Don't have any tests. I'll give it til Monday.

How old are you? At 46 I moved to one period every 6 months or so.... Before the final one which was whsn I was 49

You're probably just a bit late. It happens all the time for reasons as mundane as exercising more, travelling, changing time zones, dieting, or no good reason.

Do a test, but odds are very high you've just ovulated late or had a random anovulatory cycle. Happens all the time.

Oooo this happened to me couple of weeks ago. I was 9 days late and was shitting myself. Had never been late before unless pregnant. Fortunately came on. 28 too. Most likely just a late period for you too.

Just to give you a worst case scenario. I had the same late last year, husband had his vasectomy all clear test earlier on in the year. Turned out I was pregnant.

Still waiting to find out what the problem is and why he had a clear test result from the hospital. I'd convinced myself I couldn't possibly be pregnant but after a couple of weeks of sickness and fatigue I did a test.

So maybe just do a test to put your mind at rest.

I find I do a test after being stressed over being late and it starts the very next day.

Husband would be gutted if it had failed lol. So would I. I'll wait til Monday as think it's more likely that I'm late.
