...how do you arrange your weekends?

DCs don't do any clubs on a Saturday morning, just on a Sunday. We alternate get ups in the morning. Lots of TV and chill time. DH goes to football about 1 week in 3 which somehow involves being out of the house for 6 hours on a Saturday afternoon. DCS are 8 and 5. I'm trying to think of easy, low stress ways to entertain them - any ideas?

We've just started letting our DDs 7 and 4 go down and watch TV and eat breakfast while we have a lie in Blush

Take it in turns to go to the gym (more jacuzzi than workout!) for some P&Q. Sometimes 'family gym Sundays': DH supervises the kids in soft play whilst I go to the gym; then I take them swimming whilst he goes to the gym.

Invite other kids round to play: they're noisy, but they keep our kids entertained and we can do our own thing Grin

And we also often go out in parallel for 1-on-1 time with the girls, swapping which parent hangs out with which kid. They're much less hard work 1-on1 so this feels relatively relaxing.

And we go to the cinema quite a lot so we can have a cheeky nap!

All great ideas, thanks!
