39 year old who lost parliamentary seat, given life peerage

Having just read the news that ex Conservative MP Nicola Blackwood has been given a life peerage and rejoin health and social care department.

She served for 7 years and is aged 39 before voters threw her out of her seat, and elected a liberal democrat MP instead.

She studied music at Oxford, yet is “an expert” in health care.

Does anyone else think this is ludicrous?

She also voted against gay marriage.

Its beyond infuriating, isnt it.

It certainly is. Her husband is 24 years older than she is, having graduates before she was born.

I think she’s somehow adopted the mannerisms of someone 30 years her senior. Odd woman
