Has anyone successfully shifted cellulite?

I just caught a glimpse of my arse in the mirror and it's depressed me Sad

I self harmed a lot as a teenager so the skin on my thighs and butt has always looked crinkley anyway but in the past year or so I've been slack with my diet and my bum seems to have borne the brunt of it.

Have tried googling but there's a baffling array of bollocks sounding treatments.

Has anyone done anything that actually works??

Drink lots of water and go walking this always helps me, im back doing this to start my health kick. Also do squats this is the best for bum area if u struggle hold onto something it still works doing this ,i start off at 50 5x a week. I would also try using a cream a thick one i use soap and glory the righteous butter.x

I use the Nivea cream which I actually like!

All as what mentioned above also lymphatic drainage and massage. That’s the most important for me I do dry brush every day and go and get a massage to.

Body brushing. Every day has greatly improved the texture of my thighs. You have to stick with it long term to see results though.

Yes, water and lots of running! Reckon I’ll alwaus have a bit though

Cellulite isn't a thing in itself, it's a result of having subcutaneous fat that irregularly shapes your skin.

So basically get fit and smooth it all out with muscle. There are no miracle cures, no creams, no lotions, no massages, no fucking crystal therapies. Squats and healthy lifestyle.

I'm going to look into body brushing! Can you do it in the shower? Squats I can do. Running makes me cry.

Running, sorry, not what you want to hear!

Thisnamechanger · 14/01/2019 18:26

I like the idea of running in my head but every time I do it all my muscles and joints just yell "WHAT ARE YOU DOING YOU STUPID WOMAN?!"

Water - LOTS of water, over 2 litres a day plus HIITs shifted mine in 4 weeks.

KirstieandPhil · 14/01/2019 18:34

Not completely but my legs look a lot better when I do a lot of walking and go swimming every week

Would water, yoga (daily) and pilates help? I've got abs now but still cellulite. Confused

QueenofallIsee · 14/01/2019 18:39

I find the caffeine is my worst enemy (I love it though) body brushing and cutting that out did help though not a complete eradication

BF888 · 14/01/2019 18:50

Do the dry Body brush first and then get in the shower, it’s good for general well-being to make sure your lymph’s working well.

I also have reduced salt intake this year and have also noticed a difference, I’m not sure if it’s down to this or not though Confused
