Anyone know what this is?

So we have got some of those reusable hand warmers that are activated by clicking a metal tab and reset by boiling in water.

However a teacher has told DS 9 that he had a hand warmer that can be microwaved to be reset and can be activated by snapping it. He said it was called heat hands.

DS has spent all evening googling this as have I and we cannot find a reusable hand warmer that can be microwaved and activated on demand (not the wheat bag ones).

Has anybody seen/heard of these please? Dealt wants to find these and he can't ask the teacher till Monday. Thanks!

Ah but these aren’t reuseable..

There was one called Hot Snapz that you could apparently microwave instead of putting in hot water, but I don’t know if that one is commonly available (tbh I’ve note seen any other than that of this type of snap warmer that says it can be microwaved).

Thanks both! We looked at these but as you've said they don't seemto be microwavable.

I think the metal disc inside might be why you can't microwave?

I agree Noeuf! But DS says that the one the teacher described didn't have a metal disc but you could somehow snap it as it was hard! Confused

I don't know but DS is really disappointed that we can't find this Sad

@onepillmakesyousmaller thank you so much!! Those instructions look like they can be used with any sodium acetate hand warmers. I will give it a go Grin
