I am missing all my Christmas candles.

Soooo

I received a gift voucher from work for £50 (for Sainsburys) I am going to put that in the household pot and buy myself goods to the value and on my list is a candle that will last longer than ten seconds.

I would like a white linen one, any recommendations please and thank you.

I can't recommend these candles highly enough - with the bonus of supporting a lovely small business.

Woodwick candles are lovely as are those by the Chiltern Candle company.

White Company Seychelles is my all time favourite. And I’m a total candle addict

I like woodwick I always have one around and I have Yankee candles too, I know they are seen as common on here but I don't see anything wrong with them. Morton ones are lovely too. To be honest I use anything, I buy some from home bargains which are only 3.99 for large candles and see as good as Yankee candles, I don't think I'm posh enough to really notice the difference to be honest. But most of mine are woodwick and Yankee. I live the fact woodwick crackle which is hilarious because I'm very heard of hearing 😂

I know I've been tagged with a big smile - but I'm asking a serious question Blush how DO you snuff a candle if you've fallen asleep. Is it possible?

brick15 · 11/01/2019 21:55

When you or friends/family go to US or any country with Bath and Bodyworks stuff your suitcases with their candles. They smell wonderful and all different seasonal scents too. (May be able to eBay them too)

NEOM candles are lovely, long lasting and burn evenly so none is wasted.

apintofwhine · 11/01/2019 22:01

Neom are really nice but got a espa one for Christmas as a present and I think it might be a new favourite

bellinibobble · 11/01/2019 22:12

Someone bought us a woodwick soft chambray candle for Christmas, it’s a lovely linen-y smell, would definitely recommend!

owl89 · 11/01/2019 22:13

A child in my class bought me a candle from the white company for Christmas. It fills my whole house Smile

SciFiScream
I wondered about that too , predominantly because it has the potential to be very dangerous and also it is a waste . I often have a candle lit while I am working or on MN but I can / do put it out to save it if I am going to do some cooking, cleaning or whatever .
As you said that can not be done if your asleep Confused
