'Special' 10p coins

Found a funny looking 10p coin in my purse with an N on the tail and a stethoscope so wondered if it was part of a.set or if it was worth £10000. I found the set with a quick Google and it seems there's one for every letter of the alphabet but I must say some have me a bit stumped.

J, O, Q and Y have me scratching my head. Also, is a web really all that British?

Thoughts?

We keep getting really good 50ps in our tills at work & I so wish I could do a swap!

I know several people who have bought them as presents for their children.
-I meant to but forgot.

@Christmasfairy07 there's many coin swapping groups on Facebook.

I didn’t know try did this with the 10p.

I’ve got a variety of 50p coins.
Peter Rabbit
Tom Kitten
Benjamin bunny
I have Paddington at the train station
Public libraries
Johnson’s dictionary
2 2012 Olympic ones, back stroke swimmer and I think handball
I’ve £2 coins of Charles Dickens and 2001 (not sure what that is)
Old £1 coin with shamrock

I started collecting these when I worked in a bank. I started to notice the designs.

I haven't seen these at all!

My 21 year old son tried to swipe a Paddington 50p out of my hand though when I was admiring it in a bar after being given it in my change just before Christmas. Not sure it'd be worth more than 50p but it's very sweet so I've squirrelled it away.

Have to laugh at queuing being seen as an intrinsicly British thing.

My mom works in the co-op and collects special coins. Her tip for anyone wishing to collect is to ask at the Post Office.
