Just after reading a thread somewhere else of how someone was trying to reduce their outgoing bills and I realized that we don’t really have many at all since moving from the uk to Ireland!! I feel like I’m missing something??!!

In terms of household we have:
Rent (but only for one more year until our new house is built...thank god)
Electricity (every three months)
Oil for heating (from October to April only)
Mobile phone x2

Car (obviously is same as uk)
Insurance
Tax
Nct (mot equivalent)

Life:
Life ins policy x2

When you have your house built property tax.
Refuse charges if your bins are collected.

Yesornono · 10/01/2019 19:57

@user1471483687 yes we will have set charge don’t know what it is called here but I think it’s ballpark €300 a year.

Bins we will do as we do now (food waste goes between chickens and compost mostly and then we do a drop off to the recycling center every month.
