I'm on the usual painful, boring January diet thing I do every year, dreaming of a bikini body for June. What I've found interesting is just how much temptation I DON'T give into but don't celebrate.
I'll give my list, you can give yours if you are also going through this January rite of passage!! This is ONE WEEK.
- canteen roast potatoes that were served with meat
- a buffet of crisps/biscuits/cake at work for someone's birthday
- a glass of my favourite wine dh lovingly poured for me and left in front of me
- the cookies my kids begged me to make with them (and the batter!)
- the free treat canteen dessert
- the christmas cake that dh got out last night
-the frozen yogurt and sauce that dh bought for the kids as a treat after ds had his stitches out
I would have eaten ALL that before! I'm realising it is just loads of tiny decisions that make for weight loss, but each one is quite hard. However, looking back at the mountain of food you did turn down in a week is quite motivating, as it would have been eaten by now and sitting as fat on a part of my body!
Anyone want to offload with me?
