Passport name spelt wrong

I gave notice for my wedding today and realised I'm in a bit of an issue.
My middle name on my birth certificate is Isabel (with an A). My driving license is also spelt with A.
However my passport is misspelt Isobel (with an O) and has been for years, I never really thought much about it!
When giving notice today I spelt my name as Isobel as I realised that's the spelling on the passport that the registrar had in front of her. Regretted it as soon as I left the appointment as I realised I'll be ending up with different spellings on my birth and marriage certificate.
I'm not sure what to do next, I worry if I contact the register office about it they'll be difficult about it.
Any suggestions would be very much appreciated, it's very hard to find any information about what to do online!
Thanks!
(The wedding is in May so I do have a bit of time to sort it out!)

Call them and explain, it's all you can do. Get them to spell it right so your marriage cert is right, then have your passport amended when you change to your married name (if you're going to change)

It's fine - you need to tell the registrar and they can amend notice, do this ASAP.

Your passport evidenced your name, dob and Nationality. On your notice and marriage certificate you should be listed as an 'otherwise' as you're currently using two names (albeit very similar) on 2 official docs which is fine and surprisingly common.

So your marriage cert will say isabel smith otherwise isobel smith. Happens all the time. That'll make it easier to renew passport anyway and I think it the most sensible course of action as it covers all bases.

Flag it up with the registrars and they'll sort it.
