Do any supermarkets do online shopping delivery where you can book the same order to be delivered at the same time week in, week out? I want to be able to add or subtract things if I want to, but also want to know that if I do nothing I will get the same basic minimum shop and nothing more.
I started Ocado Reserved because I thought it was this and was prepared to pay the extra prices for the convenience.
But it isn't quite this: because it also adds items to my 'sometimes include' list without me asking. So if I do nothing, I usually get random things that I have ordered some time before and which I may or may not want. The more often I forget, the more the algorithm sees them as things I want and is likely to send them again.
It is possible to manually shift things between 'sometimes', 'always', 'never' lists, but it doesn't seem to be possible to set it so that new things don't creep onto the 'sometimes' list.
Does what I want exist? It feels like it's a totally obvious thing to want from a supermarket and yet I don't think anyone does it?
