I'm sure this has been asked before - working from home

I've an uneasy feeling about the current status quo and so looking at my options.

If you work from home, what do you do?
How did you get into it?
Qualifications?
Salary?

I could stay at my current job for a couple days a week but would need to top up with something I can do early morning, evenings etc.

Can anyone give me any inspiration?

Thank you Smile

It's usually something to do with your existing career - it's possible to use a skill and make good money through it (writing, transcribing etc) but not easy. For most people it will be taking their professional skills and doing it freelance, such as accounting or marketing, or being part of a franchise like Avon and getting paid for selling. Or eBay sales etc.

What do you do now?

Thank you for your reply!

This is what I was afraid of. What I do now be done at home, elements can be physically done at home but as it's hospitality/leisure someone has to be in venue anyway so they'd be effectively paying someone twice for me to be at home.

I have no professional qualifications. Although absolutely willing to learn anything.

I have eBay but no storage for stock so wouldn't necessarily be able to do sales from home.

You don't need room for stock at home if you use drop shipping.

A lot of eBay sellers put their stock in self storage units.
