Nespresso fan ?

Love my nesprsso machine but am thinking of using the subscription deal to get a new machine. Has anyone else done this . I als wondered how the vertuo capsules compare to the original ones . Any opinions would be welcome thanks

I’m going to watch this as we have been considering the exact same thing..... I’m almost willing our current Nespresso machine to breakdown so I can justify getting a new one. 😈

Aren't you tied to Nespresso capsules with the newer machines though?

I have an original at home and access to a vertuo at work. I prefer the taste of the original. It does appear the vertuo has more options though, such as half caff.

And the vertuo capsules are massive! The boxes take up most of the worktop in the kitchen.

Thanks for the responses . I use the nespresso capsules anyway . Like the deal with the vertuo machine but worried that it won’t taste so good so that’s interesting moose thanks

I did this with a Latissamo Touch and it was a great system so I am thinking of getting a new machine under a new subscription and I will retire the old one to the office

The disadvantage I see with Vertuo isthe machine knows the size from the podbarcode. I would need to put the right size cup underneath. Concerned I would forget, so I will stick to the ordinary machine.

I love Nespresso and I gave my original machine to my Mum and its still going strong.

We moved to Vertuo recently as we had an offer (and if you’ve had Nespresso over 5 years or something you get a discount on a new machine when buying direct). Took a bit to a gamble as the deal was very good, otherwise we were going to try subscription.

Really like the Vertuo capsules, already found some favourites in there. Prefer the variety of sizes available too. Machine is much quieter as it works differently from the original Nespresso. Capsules are much bigger, we use this as it stores them much more neatly and less likely to damage the capsule (the barcode on the rim is read by the machine so didn’t want the edges getting smushed!).

The vertuo machine is brilliant! Big cups of coffee :)
