How long does impetigo last?

I’ve had it for 3 days, I think it started to improve after applying topical med however my Dr advised washing and gently lifting the scabs to apply underneath but the area is still very weepy. Feel horrible because it sticks to my clothing so don’t feel comfortable going out

I’m lucky it’s localised and hasn’t spread but gah can’t take it

Where is it?

I think mine was all gone in a week by the time it was treated... it does reappear, but more slightly

Very awkward but my Areola so can’t wear a bra
I have a history of bad eczema so am prone to staph etc

My DD had it on her chin, lasted about a week, we did have cream from the docs

Could you put a non adherent dressing over it?
