Pregnant and my boyfriend wants to abort

I’m very young and have been with my boyfriend 6 months so far and we are so happy. He doesn’t want to keep this child at all. We don’t have money to raise a child and we both want to experience life first. I don’t know what to do because I am terrified of having an abortion but I know it would be the best for both of us. Help?

Call up your local abortion clinic (Marie stopes or BPAS) book an appointment just to talk through your options or arrange for them to have someone call you and talk through your options. If it's still not what you want, it's your body your choice. Your boyfriend cannot make you do something you don't want to do. How old are you OP? Have you got any close family or friends you can talk to or who can support you?

Don't let the fear of an abortion put you off. They aren't pleasant but nothing to be terrified of.

Oh lovely. It’s sound like you are just not sure what to do. It is entirely your decision but if it just that you are worried about the physical process of an abortion then remember labour is much more difficult and dangerous.

No one else can tell you what is the right thing to do for you. Only you can decide that but it might be helpful to chat things through with someone.

It’s a horrible situation to be in but if you really don’t want the baby it’s better than having it and being unhappy. Go with your heart and your gut instinct. If it’s early on you will have a good few weeks to think. Even if you book one you have till the very last minute to back out. I think when it comes down to it you will know what to do
