Cots - are drop sides not used anymore?

My youngest is now 14 and I kept his cot (not sure why). Clearing out attic now I am wondering if I had heard that drop sided cots are no longer used - is that right???

Thanks

A quick google found [https://www.argos.co.uk/product/7326000 this] drop side cot for sale at Argos.

They are used but perhaps less commonly so. Our son had a cot with 3 levels for the mattress base, therefore drop sides wasn't required.

I did look on the john lewis website and it said that current guidelines meant that they locked at the top and bottom. Not sure if you can still use the old ones though as decluttering!
