Slimy fish - would you eat it?

I ordered some rainbow trout from Tesco delivered this morning - they’ve only given me two when I ordered three, but they’re also really slimy. I know generally that’s a bad sign for fish, but equally just caught fish ARE slimy, and googling suggests trout especially. The eyes look ok, and they don’t smell ultra fishy, but I’m a bit perturbed by the amount of goo!

I caught the driver before he left and pointed out I’d only been given two and that they were slimy so he’s taking them off the bill (he’s not a fish eater so took my word for it!) but now I wonder if they’re ok after all?

It's hard to judge from a picture, but some goo is normal for trout.

The eyes have it! if they look bright and fishy isn't thta niffy then OK to eat:)
