I have my nisci for divorce and am now wanting absolute my ex h is giving me grief. He is refusing to sell joint owned/mortaged house, i had to move out due to his behaviour. He even made that difficult by threatening my family which ended up with police coming.

He has new girlfriend/fiancee and only has our dd one night a week, she is 14.
I want my share of money from the house, he is refusing to sell and can't buy me out dur to really bad credit history.
I haven't got thousand to take him to court, where can i go from here, he is very controlling. Please someone give me advice.
I need to know how i can ger money and my absolute.

Bumping, as this post would have been lost in the middle of the night. Chat isn't the right place for it as it moves too quickly.

There are other places on the site that don't move so quickly where people with legal expertise are more likely to see it.

I hope you're feeling calmer this morning.

Pippi, thanks for the reply. I am bit calmer but still stressing. All i want is a complete break from him, to get my absolute and my share of the house.
I understand that the courts can force a sale but am looking on not spending thousands that i don't have. Is it possible you can pay a deposit to solicitors and then pay the rest fron the proceeds of the house. Obviously agreeing a fixed fee before hand.
