Hi, I really like the Ikea Voxtorp kitchen in white gloss. Just wondered if anyone has the kitchen and is it a nightmare to keep clean? My MIL is saying it'll be a finger print magnet.
Would love to hear from anyone who has this kitchen or a gloss kitchen.
Thank you Smile

We're looking at a gloss kitchen too and I have been told that yes it does show fingerprints but all you need is a wipe with a damp cloth and a dry cloth and they come up really nicely. We've sort of weighed up the pros and cons and I reckon the bright shiny light reflection outweighs the finger prints

I've got a gloss white kitchen (IKEA but a few years old). And my mum said the same as your MIL. Grin

It's very easy to keep clean. I'd suggest handles rather than push openers though to minimise finger prints. Reflects the light well too.

We have gloss cupboard doors and a quick once over with a microfibre cloth gets rid of marks quickly.

Foba more thorough clean, I was them and dry with the microfibre cloth. The cupboards are magnetic and don’t have handles, so it’s a good job it’s so easy.

Better a fingerprint magnet than a grease magnet, like my cabinets.

At least gloss surfaces don't get grime embedded in them, no matter how much you clean.

Love my new gloss kitchen.

We have a gloss kitchen (not IKEA) and so easy to keep clean. Quick wipe is all it needs. We have handles rather than push open doors and drawers. Reflects the light nicely. Really pleased with it.

I love my whitd gloss kitchen. So much easier to keep clean than it's wooden predecessor. I echo what PPs have said about microfibre cloths. I sometimes do mine with window cleaning spray and a microfibre cloth. Car polish also gives them a great shine!

We have a cream gloss kitchen, though not IKEA. Super easy to keep clean, doesn't show fingerprints too badly at all (it was a concern of mine when we first chose it) and just takes a quick wipe to get it looking like new again. I wouldn't have anything else now, I love it.
