Does anyone rent it their drive?

We have terrible parking on our road and in our area in general, we live next to a big employer and are the only street for miles that isn’t permitted.
We have a drive we aren’t using as we don’t have a car and we’re considering renting it out.
Does anyone do this? Is it worth the hassle?

My parents have, they live in a highly desirable area where there are a number of big employers with little parking and permits required on residential roads. They charge £25 a week and have had no hassle at all, those that have rented it have just been grateful for the local parking, and it's way cheaper than paying for a car pal daily (around here anyway).

I know someone who does it for airport parking. They've had no issues. They do it through a company I think.

For a while I was looking at commuting from Horsham train station. Parking options are limited, but there's a website for those looking to rent driveways to commuters.
