Food poisoning - acid

Im pretty certain I’ve had food poisoning after a meal at, what turned out to be, a rank Italian restaurant on Saturday night.

Came home that evening feeling ok, went to bed and woke up feeling incredibly sick. Threw up multiple times, but never actually threw up any food. Just stomach acid.

Spent all of yesterday feeling terrible, sleeping and throwing up acid.

The same so far today.

I can’t keep anything down, Although I’ve only tried water and one slice of white bread.

You should see your GP if you think its food poisoning both because you may need treatment and also because you may need to report the incident. If you ring the surgery they will tell you what to do as they would not want you to come to the surgery if it was something infectious.

you may need to report the incident

You can report incidents of food poisoning here if you are in England, Wales or Northern Ireland.

I’ve not thrown up any actual food though?

And any tips on how to get better? I’m full of acid it would seem
