Anyone else want to lose weight but can't get into it

At this exact moment? Nearly a week into the new year and I just feel bleurrrrgh and the thought of dieting at the moment just isn't doing it for me
Anyone in the same boat?

Same, I know what works for me but I'm too tired to cook and exercise. I've had the flu and I still feel sickly at times.

Always. Mainly because I have been there, done it, and returned exactly back to where I was. I appear to be able to maintain a size 16/18 with no effort or a size 12 with running/swimming 4 times a week. Theres no real middle ground.

Last year I did SW without the exercise and it drive me nuts. Didnt tell me anything I didnt know but to lose properly i needed the exercise not a round circle commentry on how Sue gave in and drank too much wine at the weekend. It just wasnt for me.

This year I am thinking of joining the end of january couch to 5k local group. Do it through exercise ans if I can go out 3 times a week doing that it will help me temper my diet naturally (from past experience)

This is the worse time to start a diet IMO. The cold weather and dark nights make it counterintuitive to cut back on calories. Just moderate what you eat and start a diet when you feel ready.

Yup, me. I had all good intentions of eating healthily and doing exercise at least 3 times a week from the start of the new year. I went back to work last Wednesday and have felt like utter shit ever since. Can't sleep, full of cold, bad back, stressed out - I just don't have the energy or motivation to get going yet.

I went for a walk on Wednesday and Thursday lunch times though. Once I'm over this cold I'll start properly hopefully but for now I just can't face it!

Im feeling the same ,walking is what i do and it does work if u keep it up my legs slim down fast when i go walking,just now im feeling fat and out of shape.

I keep intending to diet. I always say if the answer to "When does your diet start?" is anything other than right now, you are lying.
Can't seem to get started, but have banned myself buying snack stuff. When its gone, its gone and diet by default begins.

Me. I want to lose about a stone and a half. I can do the healthy eating bit easily but it's the exercise that I can't seem to motivate myself to do. I'm a single parent so by the time I've done all my jobs in the evening after being at work I just want to sit down and not do anything. No time in the morning either unless I get up at a stupidly early hour.
