Dolly Hair

Hi,

Does anyone have a tried and tested way of getting dolly hair (Barbies, My Little Pony, Girls World etc) back to being silky, instead of a crappy frizzy tangled mess?

I've tried soaking it in fabric softener (Fairy) but it's just made it smell nice. And I've brushed out all the tangles, but it's still all fuzzy at the ends.

Any magical solutions?!

🙂

I soak mine in fabric conditioner, but brush from the ends and work up, if that makes sense? It's never perfect but it works for a while.

Another vote for fabric conditioner and a baby (v. Soft) hairbrush. Brush from the ends and gradually work up to the head, brushing a bit more each time. As pp said. Grin

It's worked for me with ancient dolls from charity shops. Good luck, it takes patience!

American doll website says to use a metal combed wire brush/wig comb?
