Amazon Gift Card. Can I use it bit by bit?

If I use it to buy a book now, can I use the balance later, or do I have to spend it all at once?

I am sure I am being dim, but just double checking!

Yep, you just add it to your account and use it a bit at a time

Yeah. Just watch out that each time you buy something it defaults to the gift card first. That might not matter but on our account my son has £7 left of a gift card balance and its his not mine, so i need to uncheck that each time I buy myself something!
