Laser quest party.

Would you let your 6/7 year old go to a laser quest party?
This is what my son wants for his 7th birthday.
If you wouldn’t want them to go could you please let me know the reason?
Thanks

Yes of course.

SweepTheHalls · 06/01/2019 13:29

Yes, mine love it

Pascha · 06/01/2019 13:29

Yes. They love it. Just the right age.

Egg · 06/01/2019 13:29

Why not?

Dontrocktheboat · 06/01/2019 13:31

Yes I have just booked one for my 8 year old - friends will be ages 6-8.

Birdie6 · 06/01/2019 13:31

Sounds like fun. I'd let them go.

Whydididothatfuckingthing · 06/01/2019 13:41

Thanks!
I was thinking maybe some people wouldn’t like the ‘gun’ aspect.
And maybe they would think it was too scary?

My lo doesn’t get invited to parties anymore (asd and struggles socially) so I was going to invite the whole class again as he gets on with everyone but has no specific friends.

Maybe I’m over thinking it.

Yep, my DS has had a couple himself. First time at around 6 or 7 there was one child who was too scared of the dark to go in, but otherwise they've been a huge hit.

Mine did one for his 7th or 8th. It was an outdoor laser shooting party though dressed up in camo gear. They all loved it.

mashpot · 06/01/2019 14:10

I wondered about that too but did one for my 7 yo DS and everyone came

LadyFlumpalot · 06/01/2019 14:24

I don't like guns AT ALL but I absolutely adore Laser Quest. So. Much. Fun. I'd live my DC to get invited to one, I could volunteer to "help"!

OP, if some in the class are only 6, make sure they're old enough to play. Just had party for DS12 and at that location it was minimum age 7 and DS very small and found pack they wear uncomfortable as made for adults. We also had one child who was scared of the dark and sat it out (age 11). No parents seemed to object to the guns aspect.

mashpot · 06/01/2019 14:49

Yes I had a child who was too scared of the dark to join in to but he joined in with the birthday tea afterwards

My DS had laser quest parties year after year. I used to like it when they were young enough to need an adult helper as it's fantastic fun. I used to be precious about guns but didn't have a problem with this.

Great thanks everyone! We’ll go for it then. Minimum age for this one is 6 so we’ll be ok on that one.
I haven’t played myself for years so may have to join in..
Thanks again!
