Do I need a tetanus shot?

Ddog has diabetes newly diagnosed. Getting insulin in plus doing a glucose curve today means I've had a few needle sticks, some after they've been in him. My mum mentioned tetanus and I can't find anything i the internet does anyone know?

Thanks

The tetanus virus cannot breed where oxygen is present so if a needle prick has bled there is no need to worry. Also it lives in dank, dirty earth.
To be sure, check with your vet as they will know if any DDog germs are harmful to you through bodily fluid transfer
