What's wrong with me?

Do I have the flu?
Shivering a lot - radiators are on high
Slight queasiness
So, so tired
No appetite
Not quiet diarrhoea but loose stools

I had sex with DH when I was ovulating a week ago (protected) and I really don't want to be pregnant (DD only one).

I felt this sort of tiredness last when I was three weeks pregnant with DD.

Well a pregnancy test isn’t a bad idea but it was protected sex and was only a week ago so very early for pregnancy symptoms so it doesn’t sound like pregnancy. Plus shivering, lack of appetite and loose stools don’t tend to be common indicators of pregnancy (were they for you in your previous pregnancy?). I’d assume a stomach bug at this point myself.

AfterSchoolWorry · 05/01/2019 20:57

Have you got a temperature?

KimchiLaLa · 05/01/2019 21:12

No but am no longer shivering - now just warm.
The digital thermometer is in DD's room and no way will I be waking her up!
I thought stomach bug but only thing I ate was a crumpet this morn, fruit toast and some coffee outside.
I took one of my clearblue digital tests but it didn't work - I'm assuming as it's been in my cupboard for around 2.5 years now??!!

In my previous pregnancy I had A LOT of mucus and a missed period but also a few weeks before a big appetite and overwhelming tiredness. So I guess things don't really match up.

One week after sex, protected or not, seems very soon for symptoms though. Does it feel like your previous pregnancy?

Otherwise, without trying to sound like your mother, you really haven’t eaten much so it could be lack of food making you feel ill.

BluePepper · 05/01/2019 21:15

Cross posted, sorry!

KimchiLaLa · 05/01/2019 21:35

Don't worry, I find my mum is always right somehow
Yes I probably do need to eat a bit. DH bringing up some toast as that's all I want and I've had lucozade.
As you can tell I'm quite the hypochondriac

Sounds more viral to me than pregnancy

OrchidFlakes · 05/01/2019 21:43

I feel exactly the same, could have written your post word for word..and definitely, definitely not pregnant. Viral is my assumption

KimchiLaLa · 05/01/2019 22:25

While I hope you feel a lot better, I'm glad to know that!
Weirdly I feel a lot better even now.
Think we both just need a good night of sleep...
