I thought it was going to go due to ‘privacy reasons’, usually code for ‘I can’t be arsed to think how to get out of/think of a juicy ending for this’.

Very cynical of me, and perhaps patronising as well but it was extraordinarily well written, wasn’t it?
For someone who wasn’t able to use the resources they had, I mean. Almost as well written as you’d expect from someone you’d expect to have had an expensive education, followed by Oxbridge, followed by Spectator or the like
