Just canvassing for opinions really. This year we are finally in a position to buy a house, if we leave London and move back to where we are both from.
I would think this a no brainer but with Brexit coming up would we be better to stay in our secure jobs but incredibly insecure and expensive rented housing situation ?
DH is 42 so we really need to crack on, also DS is about to do his GCSEs so if we don't go this summer we probably have to wait 2 years which obviously makes DH even older.
DH could commute for a while which may or may not be feasible long term (depends on shift patterns). I am pretty employable I think, as although my industry is non existent where we would move to my skills are quite transferable and I would only need to earn in the low £20k region.
What would you do?
