Gin baubles: will they keep?

I had a lovely Christmas gift, a set of six Pickerings gin baubles. For the uninitiated, these are actual Christmas tree baubles each containing a double measure of gin! They're actually very pretty.

I was given them too late to put on my tree, there isn't a use by date on them (does gin usually have a use by date?) and I'm wondering if they'll keep for next year?

I would think so. Alcohol is a preservative.

Ooh will they keep me young :)

Drink them before you pack them away? Then fill with fresh gin before hanging on your next Christmas tree.

It will be fine. Pop them away with your decs for next year. I just bought reduced gin crackers and have stored them.

My dad got these, the baubles are brightly coloured so you could drink the gin now, then refill even with just water or hang empty, next year.

allinthelineofduty · 05/01/2019 17:21
