Thick uterus lining

Today 12:40 Lizzy1906

Was wondering if anybody has gone through the same. So I’m 42 this year and in December 2018 I started with a personal trainer. After training hard (for me I am not the fittest ) I noticed bleeding after the sessions on two occasions.
Was concerned so when to se my gp who referred me for a scan. I had the scan on Thursday and was told by the consultant radiologist that my uterus lining is moderately thick and it will be up to my gynae consultant what happens next!
Obviously I’ve been googling and I’m worried !! Has anybody else experienced this??

I can understand your concerns. I have no experience of this but hopefully someone will be along soon who's more helpful that me! When are you seeing your gynae consultant?

I have no follow up scheduled but was told the consultant will see me once he has seen the scan

Assume you're pre-menopausal? Unlikely to be anything serious but best to get checked out. Bleeding after menopause on the other hand and having a thickened womb lining is cause for concern.

Yes still having regular periods
But I had an ovary removed 4 years ago as I had a large cyst.
Was on my period when trans vaginal trains was done so don't know if that make a difference
Wish they radiologist had not said anything at all

The spotting only happened twice in the week after my period.
Thank you knowing it's not just me is reassuring somewhat x

There is quite a few things they might do. They might suggest a Mirena, for start. There are options available.
