I know I'm really late to this, and I've searched for other threads but am incapable of searching without it just bringing up all posts with all those worlds in them!
Anyway, wow! I've almost finished the series and I can't believe I've been missing out. I come at it as someone who doesn't have a child with LD, but I do have some previous professional experience. The reviews on IMDB are absolutely stellar from parents of children with LD's so I'm assuming they've portrayed it accurately and sensitively. For me, the absolutely honestly around the relationship of the parents and how they feel and deal with their family situation is just amazing. And the actors are wonderful. I know that Jessica Hynes and David Tennant are brilliant, but now I love them even more.
Sorry I'm gushing, but it's the best thing I've watched on TV for a long time.
