Looking for psychiatrists.

Hi, I hope some one can help. My son needs a mental health assessment but is adhd team will not help with this. His doctor requested urgent referral to be assessed within 5 days by community mental health team. After 4 days wait they have refused this. Speaking to his GP he has said needs to be seen much sooner and says to go privately. He will write a referral to any psychiatrist I get an appointment for. What I am looking for is recommendations of psychiatrists in leicestershire or where to find them. Thank you for reading this.

Google your nearest private hospital and look at their consultants. Give the hospital a ring if that's easier. Usually spire or BMI. There will be a list of consultants and you just pick out a psychiatrist. Make sure it's a psychiatrist that sees children; you may need to give the secretary a ring to check and that should be online too
