Defrosting question!

I forgot to get the pork out the freezer like OH asked.. can I defrost pork chops in the microwave? If not how can I do it faster :(

Do you have Defrost setting on the microwave?

I do! Not sure how to use it but it's definitely there.

I know I sound silly but my mum said she would never microwave defrost pork in her life, because apparently pork is the one that can make you ill :( you think it would be ok? Cooking it straight after so I don't see why not!

Your mum is talking bollocks frankly, it’s absolutely fine!

Yes use the defrost setting then cook thoroughly, jobs a goodun

Thank you! I'm a 'smell it and see' type of person while my mum is very much in the bin in by midnight expiry date!
