Has anyone any experience with barefoot shoes?

Im looking at getting some adult boots from vivo barefoot.

The have a very thin sole on them and i was wondering if you can feel the floor in them?

I was thinking of getting ds who is a toddler some bobux which care barefoot too but was also wondering if he would be able to feel the floor in them?

Not sure about the Vivo ones but DD has had a couple of pairs of Bobux boots and they have a normal thickness sole but it is very flexible so allows the foot to move naturally. They're fantastic shoes, really well made and comfortable. They also sell on really well too if you look after them.

I love, love, love vibram fivefingers barefoot shoes. I don't find the super thin soles a problem on normal surfaces but walking over gravel is a bit uncomfortable. You do feel all the muscles in your feet more though. I also like the vivo shoes but the price puts me off.

I also love freaking people out in them.

I love my viviobarefoots. Whenever I wear them, I swear off all other footwear because they feel so right. DS has some too and loves his.

I’m worried about wasting the money if they are not right. I have weak arches so I’m not sure if they would be suitable for me

I think they have a special returns policy to see if you get on with them - I remember seeing it for adult shoes on their website.

Yeah i saw that but was abit worried about the clauses in it and be in a position were they refused to accept them back.

I ve just stopped wearing a pair of boots were i have started to feel the pavement in them and it was uncomfortable and with these being barefoot shoes i wasnt sure whether they would be the same.
