Mattress topper without the "plastic bag" feel

We need a mattress protector for our king size bed to protect it against children's leaky nappies 😱

We've tried a few but they seem to rustle like a plastic bag, which isn't great.

Can anyone recommend one that doesn't do this??

Ikea do good ones. They’re more expensive but they’re (I think) fleecy topped.

Ikea gokart ones are good but don't protect the side of the mattress. So we used pampers/huggies bed mats around the sides in the vicinity of child.

Ikea sounds good - are they completely waterproof? Will they fit uk size beds?

White company! Feel like cotton.

They do fit UK size beds but couldn’t attest to whether they’re completely waterproof!

Another vote for ikea! Comfortable and good value.

John Lewis. They don't rustle at all.

Hippy Chick. It’s PUL same as reuseable nappies and does not rustle. Does not rip either.

B sensible. Expensive but totally fantastic!

I've got a white company one but it's definitely not waterproof.

White company. The one we have is waterproof.
