Oh the joys of being single. Not.

So I decided to come out for a cappuccino in a nice local coffee shop.
It was full downstairs so I checked upstairs first before ordering to see if there was room. So I ordered downstairs and the lady told me they'd bring it up for me so to go and grab my seat.
As I walk towards the comfy empty sofa, a couple dives in and sits down before I can say anything, but it's not mine anyway as a single person can't just leave belongings unattended in a public place to bag a seat in a busy place.
That is my rant. This kind of stuff happens all the time to me and I'm sick of being single and to have no one to share a sofa with Sad
Enjoy your coffees on comfy sofas, couples. I'll just sit here on the very hard stool in the corner without a view that nobody else wanted.

Personally, I think there should be more armchairs.

You shouldn’t be denied comfort just because you’re on your own and some jammy couple have nicked the sofa.

I might tell them that! I can't be the only person who's nipped in for a coffee on their own ever.

Well it's a tiny consolation but the couple barely spoke to each other and have finished their coffee and gone already! That sofa is mine, for the single reject in the corner Grin

It's the same, btw, when you need to go to the loo but aren't ready to leave yet. You can't just leave your stuff on the seat.
It's like having a baby or toddler again in the stuff you can and can't do anymore.
I think tables should have lights on them like taxis.
