The latest one where they're going vegan for a month. And she tells him he's joining the gym and pats his nonexistent stomach. Ffs!

Eh? I would say it was rude but not sexist.
If he had demanded she did the washing up yes, she told him to get his drill out, maybe yes.
Telling someone they are fat isn't sexist though just fucking rude!

I don't think that word means what you think it means

MikeUniformMike · 04/01/2019 13:48

What if it was the other way round? He tells her she's joining the gym and pats her nonexistent stomach?

CuriousMama · 04/01/2019 13:55

Yes Mike imagine that.

Still not sexist. Just rude.

WakeUpFromYourDreamAndScream · 04/01/2019 14:15

I also commented to my DH when I saw this OP! If it had been him patting her stomach and saying he'd signed her up to a gym there'd be uproar! It's a horrible badly acted advert anyway but this just makes it worse

CuriousMama · 04/01/2019 14:48

Yes it is sexist as it's not allowed if it's the other way around.
