Car seats

We're off on holiday soon and need a car seat for our cab ride to the train station. Our son will be 18 months old at the time and he's a tall boy.

I'm clueless as to what we will need , he's outgrown his first car seat , we bought a cheap one for the hospital ride home and our first holiday. This one feels trickier to buy as our son is becoming so tall for his age.

Any recommendations? I need cheap and safeSmile

Lots of cabs will provide a car seat if you ask for it. Is that all you need it for?

Are you taking it with you, will be using a car at the other end? Borrow one from teh cab company if not.

I'll go against the grain and say don't borrow one from the cab company.

You don't know what condition they're in, if they're damaged and if it will even be a suitable seat for your child.

Ask in this group on FB as a lot have travelled with car seats and may be able to help you.

Yes , we will probably only use it for the journey there and back at this end. We can walk from the station at the other end.

Thank you for suggesting that we borrow one , I think I'd really like to buy a new one though.

I will check out that Facebook group. Thanks.
