I want to start reading more this year when the kids let me. I have never been a massive reader but want to try harder this year. Not really into romance novels.

I liked
Elizabeth’s missing
The last days of rabbit Hayes
Lovely bones
Lord of the flies when I did it at school
One I read but can’t remember what it’s called about a man that kept being reborn after living think it was the 19 lives of something??

Any suggestions?

The one I was thinking but couldn’t remember the name was the first 15 lives of Harry August

Liane Moriarty is nice and readable if you're trying to get back into it. Try The Husband's Secret.

I found The Dry by Jane Harper a cracking read.

My favourite authors are Harlen Coben, mark billingham, Karin slaughter and Linwood Barclay. They’re all of the ‘thriller with a twist’ variety if that sounds up your street

Everything by Kate Atkinson.
The night circus
Eleanor oliphant is completely fine
The Rosie project (slightly romantic, but quirky)
Ian rankin
Terry pratchett

The Seven deaths Of Evelyn Hardcastle. I’m reading it at the moment and bloody love it. It reminded me of Harry August.
