Does anyone have one?
Would you recommend it?

I have had one for years Cwtches123.

It's quick and convenient, and coffee dosettes are compostable (unlike the detestable plastic pods that some other machines use.

But, finding the coffee is not easy and it is expensive. I bring three months supply at a time from France where the choice of coffees is good (DH only drinks Kenyan, I only drink espresso, closest I can get in the UK is a fairly bland dark roast), and it is really cheap.

I would prefer an all-singing, all-dancing a bean to cup machine, but a) I'm lazy, b) I'm in a very hardware area that KILLS small appliances. I'm on my fourth machine in eleven years and have a spare one for when that dies!

I've seen reusable holders for the coffee - have you tried them?

I like the idea of the dosettes being compostable, hate all the waste with so many of the machines.

Cwtches, I'd forgotten about those! I never found them as good as the actual dosettes, but I think it was because of the hard water, so the pressure through the machine wasn't right. If you're in Wales that would be less of a problem. But they are a bit messy, so it would be as easy to get a regular coffee machine, or even a stovetop. The Senseo is about convenience, even easier than a kettle and a jar of Nescafe!

Just to update. I bought one on ebay, brand new and boxed, unwanted gift!
I love it, so easy to use!
I've stocked up with pods on Amazon!

I've had one for years. I buy the pads in bulk from Amazon in bulk every month. A box of 118 pads is a tenner. If I'm driving home to Germany I buy a car load and bring them back with me. 😅
I have a couple of other coffee machines, but I always prefer my senseo.

That sounds like the pads I bought!
