Memory boxes

I keep a shoe box filled with memories from that year of my DS's life, things like birthday cards, Xmas cards, some pics, a few bits of clothes and some bits and bobs from school like star of the week report card ect. It was only in convo with a few friends that this seems to be uncommon thing. Does anyone else do this or an I just weird.

DD is 4 and we’re on her 7th BlushPersonally speaking my childhood wasn’t great and I promised her that her childhood would be the extreme opposite of mine. I have even kept my IVF medical notes for her to look through.

A friend of mine uses Photobox to compose albums of her children’s artwork as a compromise. She photographs it and edits it online.

I keep cards hand-drawn to her by her friends, certain clothing she is particularly fond of, some artwork, all the usual bits really. She also has her own email address and I send to her videos of her playing, performing etc.
