Competence based application question - any civil service recruitment personnel?

Last minute application.

I have one fairly weak example - for making effective decisions.

I've used my current work. Its low level but very similar to the role i am applying for. I risk assessment people in terms of vulnerability etc and the job I'm applying for does something very similar with a subset of those people for different reasons.

I think the panel will get to see the competence section only? And therefore won't see my employmental history? So I put in the risk assessment process as my example of decision making as i wanted them to know i have direct experience.

Its matches the job description but it's fairly basic. An example of putting forward my professional recommendations outside the usual assessment tools process. Try to impress or match the job role? If they have lots of applicants they'll sift initially on this.

They won't see your employment history, solely your competency example. Don't try to impress or match the job role, match the elements of the competency.

Ok thanks. Will try again. They've listed competence headings and linked to the entire framework. The role is AO level and i just about tick off all the bullets in the example mentioned. Someone senior, known personally, advised to use higher level examples as things are so competitive they will have really strong candidates. Better to technically meet the competence?
